UpNest has its agents bid for you. We go find the one who sells best.
UpNest sends your request to agents in its network and you get 3 to 5 proposals to compare. We start from the MLS record for your community instead, rank every agent who sold homes like yours on what they actually did, and then go get the best one for you. Free to you.
See who wins in my communityThe cheapest proposal is not the same as the best result.
A bidding model puts the commission rate front and center. But a lower commission on a home that sells for a few percent less, or sits for months, is not a saving. What you want to know is which agent gets homes like yours sold, and for how close to the asking price.
UpNest also tells its agents there is an advantage to submitting early. So the proposals you see come from network agents who were invited and got their bid in, not from a ranking of everyone working your community.
We rank the whole field first, from the record. Then we contact the agent at the top and ask them to take you on.
Prime Den vs UpNest
| UpNest | Prime Den | |
|---|---|---|
| Which agents you hear from | 3 to 5 agents from UpNest's partner network who are invited to your request and submit a proposal. | One agent: the one at the top of our ranking for your community, whether or not they have ever worked with us. |
| How agents are chosen | UpNest says it looks at an agent's availability, local expertise, online presence and reviews, and past transactions, then invites a match to submit a proposal. | Closings, expired and withdrawn listings, days on market, and sale price against the original asking price, in your specific community. |
| What you compare | Commission rates, services and reviews in each agent's proposal. | Results: how each agent's listings like yours actually ended. |
| Cost to you, the seller | Free. The agent pays UpNest a referral fee when the sale closes. | Free. The agent pays us out of their commission. |
| Who contacts you | A coordinator, then several agents with proposals. | Us, with the numbers for your community in writing. Then one introduction, only if you want it. |
UpNest details are taken from UpNest's own website (see sources below), October 2026.
Yes, we are paid by the agent too
Every service on this page, us included, earns a referral fee from the agent when your home sells. That is why it costs you nothing. The difference is not whether anyone gets paid. It's whether the agent was picked because they are the best on your streets, or because they were the best of the ones who signed up.
HomeLight, Zillow and other matching services
Recommends agents from its network of 118,000+ agents, who agree to pay HomeLight a referral fee.
Prime Den vs HomeLightSellers who ask Zillow for an agent are connected with a Premier Agent partner, an agent who pays Zillow for those connections.
Prime Den vs Zillow Premier AgentEach of them is a reasonable way to meet an agent. Each of them starts from a network. If you want to know who actually performs best with homes like yours, that answer is in the MLS record, and it includes everyone.
Common questions
Is Prime Den free for home sellers?
Yes. You never pay Prime Den anything. If you list with the agent we introduce, that agent pays us out of their own commission. Your commission is whatever you negotiate with the agent, same as if you had found them yourself.
How is Prime Den different from UpNest?
UpNest invites agents from its network to bid for your listing, and you compare 3 to 5 proposals. We don't run an auction. We rank every agent who listed homes like yours in your community on their results, members of any network or not, and approach the one at the top.
Can I still negotiate the commission?
Yes. Commission is always between you and the agent. We just make sure the agent you are negotiating with is the one with the best record for homes like yours.
Do agents pay Prime Den too?
Yes, and we would rather say it plainly. Like HomeLight, Zillow, UpNest and the other matching services, we are paid by the agent when a home sells. That is why it costs you nothing. The difference is the order of operations: we pick the agent from the record first and ask them to work with us second.
What areas do you cover?
Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties in South Florida, down to the individual subdivision or condo building.
Do I have to meet anyone or sign anything?
No. Send us the address and we send you the numbers for your community. Meeting the agent is your call.
