Prime Den vs Zillow Premier Agent  ·  South Florida sellers

Zillow sends you to the agents who pay Zillow. We look at every agent.

When you ask Zillow for help selling, you are connected with a Premier Agent partner. We start from the MLS record for your community instead, rank every agent who sold homes like yours on what they actually did, and then go get the best one for you. Free to you.

The one question that matters

Reviews tell you how a client felt. The record tells you what happened.

Zillow's own Find an Agent directory puts the highest rated and most reviewed agents at the top. Reviews are useful, but they mostly come from clients whose deals closed. The listings that expired, the price cuts and the months on market don't leave a five-star review.

And when you ask Zillow to connect you with an agent, the agent on the other end is a Premier Agent partner, someone who pays Zillow for that connection. That may be a fine agent. It is not the same thing as the best agent on your street.

We start from the full listing record for your subdivision or building: every agent, every listing, sold or not. We rank on results, then we contact the agent at the top and ask them to take you on.

Side by side

Prime Den vs Zillow

Which agent you get connected to
Zillow: A Premier Agent partner. Zillow says sellers who request help are connected to a partner, often by a live phone transfer from a Zillow Seller Consultant.
Prime Den: The agent at the top of our ranking for your community, whether or not they have ever worked with us.
How agents get in front of you
Zillow: Premier Agent partners pay Zillow, either per connection or, in its Zillow Preferred program, a success fee when the sale closes.
Prime Den: By having the best record with homes like yours. Nobody can pay to be ranked.
What the ranking is based on
Zillow: In the Find an Agent directory: star ratings and number of reviews, with past-year sales shown on each profile.
Prime Den: Closings, expired and withdrawn listings, days on market, and sale price against the original asking price, in your specific community.
Cost to you, the seller
Zillow: Free. The agent pays Zillow.
Prime Den: Free. The agent pays us out of their commission.
What you get before you meet anyone
Zillow: A call from a Zillow Seller Consultant or a partner agent.
Prime Den: The numbers for your community first, in writing. Then the introduction, only if you want it.

The part we'd rather say ourselves

Yes, we are paid by the agent too

Every service on this page, us included, earns a referral fee from the agent when your home sells. That is why it costs you nothing. The difference is not whether anyone gets paid. It's whether the agent was picked because they are the best on your streets, or because they were the best of the ones who signed up.

Other matching services

HomeLight, UpNest and other matching services

HomeLight

Recommends agents from its network of 118,000+ agents, who agree to pay HomeLight a referral fee.

Prime Den vs HomeLight
UpNest

You receive 3 to 5 proposals from agents in its network, who compete on commission and services.

Prime Den vs UpNest

Each of them is a reasonable way to meet an agent. Each of them starts from a network. If you want to know who actually performs best with homes like yours, that answer is in the MLS record, and it includes everyone.

Questions

Common questions

Is Prime Den free for home sellers?

Yes. You never pay Prime Den anything. If you list with the agent we introduce, that agent pays us out of their own commission. Your commission is whatever you negotiate with the agent, same as if you had found them yourself.

How is Prime Den different from Zillow Premier Agent?

Zillow Premier Agent is advertising for agents: agents pay Zillow to be connected with buyers and sellers. When you ask Zillow for an agent, you get one of those partners. We start from the MLS record of your community, rank every agent who listed homes like yours on their results, and approach the one at the top, whether or not they have ever paid anyone for leads.

Isn't Zillow's agent directory good enough?

It's a good place to read reviews. Zillow says its directory puts the highest rated and most reviewed agents first. Reviews come from clients whose deals closed, so they rarely show the listings that expired or sat for months. Those are in the MLS record, and that is what we rank on.

Do agents pay Prime Den too?

Yes, and we would rather say it plainly. Like HomeLight, Zillow, UpNest and the other matching services, we are paid by the agent when a home sells. That is why it costs you nothing. The difference is the order of operations: we pick the agent from the record first and ask them to work with us second.

What areas do you cover?

Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties in South Florida, down to the individual subdivision or condo building.

Do I have to meet anyone or sign anything?

No. Send us the address and we send you the numbers for your community. Meeting the agent is your call.
